Jesus Christ redeems believers so that their sins may be forgiven

 

Ephesians 1:11

which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,

 

Acts 26:18

18 to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’

 

Colossians 1:14

14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

 

Hebrews 9:15

15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

 

1 John 1:7

But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

 

Jesus Christ redeems believers to make them pure

Titus 2:14

14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

 

1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 7:23

6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

7:23 You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.

 

Jesus Christ redeems believers so that they may receive God’s promised blessings

Galatians 3:14

14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

 

Galatians 4:5; 5:1

4:5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.

5:1Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

Jesus Christ redeems believers so that they may receive final redemption

Romans 8:23

23 Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

 

Luke 21:28

28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

 

Ephesians 1:14; 4:30

1:14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

 

May God and Jesus be our guiding lights for eternity…… And may the Holy Spirit be our brother in love and guidance…… And may Christianity be our only religion because it was sent from God thru His Son to all who believe in His Son.

God is testing us every day and has given us the right to make our own choices. Do you know which ones are the right choices in Gods mind?

Fear God, love God, honor God, and trust God with all your heart, mind and soul and you will receive and experience the joy of the promises of God’s blessings in His time.

 

Prayer:  Father in heaven, hallowed is Thy Name.  I praise You for Your Son and the Holy Spirit. I praise You for Your grace in sending us Your wisdom about “The Purposes for Which Jesus Christ Redeems Believers.” I praise You for Your caring, Your loving kindness, and Your generosity.  Only Your graciousness and love could forgive the sins of mankind and still allow him to become a Son or daughter of Yours. Please bless those who have read this article for they too seek Your righteous truth, love, wisdom and understanding.

May God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit and Christianity be our guiding lights, our safety nets and our inspiration for loving happiness in all of Your kingdom. Father into your hands I commend my spirit. Not my will, but yours be done. Please come Lord Jesus.
