The Holy Spirit Exercises His Rule in the Lives of Individuals

 

Jesus Christ is led by the Spirit

Matthew 4:1 (NKJV)

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

 

Mark 1:12 (NKJV)

12 Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.

 

Luke 4:1 (NKJV)

Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

 

God’s people are led by the Spirit

Galatians 4:18 (NKJV)

18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

 

Psalm 143:10 (NKJV)

10Teach me to do Your will,

For You are my God;

Your Spirit is good.

Lead me in the land of uprightness.

 

Matthew 10:20 (NKJV)

20 for it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.

27 So he came by the Spirit into the temple. And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus, to do for Him according to the custom of the law,

God’s people are restrained by the Spirit

Acts 16:6-7 (NKJV)

Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them.

 

God’s people are given victory by the Spirit

Judges 3:10 (NKJV)

10 The Spirit of the Lord came upon him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and the Lord delivered Cushan-Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed over Cushan-Rishathaim.

 

Judges 14:6,19; 15:14 (NKJV)

14:6 And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion apart as one would have torn apart a young goat, though he had nothing in his hand. But he did not tell his father or his mother what he had done.

14:19 Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon him mightily, and he went down to Ashkelon and killed thirty of their men, took their apparel, and gave the changes of clothing to those who had explained the riddle. So his anger was aroused, and he went back up to his father’s house.

15:14 When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting against him. Then the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him; and the ropes that were on his arms became like flax that is burned with fire, and his bonds broke loose from his hands.

 

Always keep God the Father and God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in n your heart, in your mind, in your soul and in your daily life.

God is testing us every day and has given us the right to make our own choices. Do you know which ones are the right choices in Gods mind?

Fear God, love God, honor God, and trust God with all your heart, mind and soul and you will receive and experience the joy of the promises of God’s blessings in His time.

 

Prayer:  Father in heaven, hallowed is Thy Name.  I praise You for Your Son and the Holy Spirit. I praise You for Your grace in sending us Your wisdom about “The Holy Spirit Exercises His Rule in the Lives of Individuals.” I praise You for Your caring, Your loving kindness, and Your generosity.  Only Your graciousness and love could forgive the sins of mankind and still allow him to become a Son or daughter of Yours. Please bless those who have read this article for they too seek Your righteous truth, love, wisdom and understanding.

May God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit and Christianity be our guiding lights, our safety nets and our inspiration for loving happiness in all of Your kingdom. Father into your hands I commend my spirit. Not my will, but yours be done. Please come Lord Jesus.
