Belief in Jesus Christ

Belief in Jesus Christ is just as fundamental and necessary for a Christian as it is for anyone taking a breath that you may live. God through His Son Jesus provides many things. But the right for God’s children to be able to choose to be an elect child of God by accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior is just as easy as taking a breath, but you receive much more than air.

Think long and hard about the following three questions!!!

Do you believe in the God of heaven?

Do you believe in His Son, Jesus Christ?

If necessary— why do you not believe in God or Jesus Christ?

If you do not believe in Jesus Christ then automatically you do not believe in God. Then you have placed yourself in the position of having caused an abomination to the God Who caused you to be born, Who gave you the right to make free choices, and Who gave you everything you have, you made, or you inherited. Wouldn’t it be better to study and learn about Jesus and then show love, respect and praise for the One who gave you everything rather than taking the chance of going to a place called the Lake of Burning Fire and Brimstone (aka: Hell) for eternity.

Yes, that is what God has promised to those who do not accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior before you die or Jesus comes in the clouds for His church (all believers).

God is the Father of Jesus Christ (Luke 1:35; Colossians 1:15-18; Matt. 3:16-17).

God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are all God (Isaiah48:16; John 1:14-16; see my article on “How Does the Bible and Jesus Present the Doctrine of the Trinity” to have a better understanding).

For those who scoff at Jesus, those who do not fully believe in Jesus and those who vehemently deny His deity, may want to learn more about Who actually created them at the direction of God!!!

Now, if the non-believers will give yourself about twenty minutes to read and understand what I am about to say I will to try to get over to you a message from God. Thank you for your patience.

God’s Message

While God presents Himself as a transcendent God, He is also immanent, seeking fellowship with man. He recognizes the creation of man as very good (Gen. 1:31); He creates man in His own image and likeness that He may have a relationship with man and that man may rule over the earth (Gen. 1:26); He speaks with man (Gen. 1:28–30); He creates an environment especially for man (Gen. 1:3–25, 29–30); He tests man’s loyalty (Gen. 2:16–17); He seeks man (Gen. 3:9).

1 Corinthians 3:11    11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

God cannot be around sin because He is holy. That is one reason God chose to give Jesus and the Holy Spirit great powers. He gave those powers to them so they could do His will. Note man will not see God until Jesus’ 1000 year reign on earth is over and all sin and sinners have been removed. Then Jesus with all His powers will burn the heavens and earth and re-make them all. The earth will be remade just as beautiful as it was before sin came to earth.

God through Jesus and with the help of the Holy Spirit created everything that was created  including you and me. Some of these things include the universe and expanding the universe, the creation of earth, the moon and the sun. When he created these things He caused the rotation of a lot of planets and moons, some He gave a tilt too such as earth and He keeps them from crashing into one another. This alone should give credence to Jesus as having the power given to Him by His Father.

Jesus created the earth beautiful with land standing in water and out of water. The time is unknown but at some point in time Lucifer who was an arch angel and the overseerer of the earth sinned against God by thinking in his mind that he would sit higher than God. This infuriated God and God threw Lucifer out of heaven and sent him to earth. Then God changed Lucifer’s name to Satan. But God still allowed Satan to come to heaven but would not let Him come upon His mountain. When Satan was sent to earth he took a large number of angels possibly half of the angels in heaven to earth with him. As time went by Satan and his angels continued to sin until God had enough. God through Jesus flooded the earth, cut off all light to earth and sent the fallen angels to a special prison in the Lake of Burning Fire and Brimstone. During that time everything on earth died from being flooded and from being without light. Then an unknown period of time passed by and God through Jesus re-created the earth, returned light to earth, and created everything on earth including mankind, animals, the fish in the sea etc. (the six days of re-creation and creation; i.e. re-creation of the earth and creation of everything on it).

Then when mankind began to sin and things got out of hand God through Jesus caused the flood in Noah’s time. Then later God could see His plan was not working as He wanted and sent Jesus to earth through incarnation as a man-God to bring God’s New Testament and to teach and institute it.  Jesus did this through His apostles. Jesus taught His apostles as they followed Him throughout the country.

When Jesus was put to death, after three days He arose and was seen by His apostles, several of His lady followers, and crowds of up to  500. He stayed on earth for forty days and was seen by many. After forty days Jesus and His disciples walked out of Jerusalem down the road towards Bethany. Jesus spoke to them and then He was raised into heaven to sit at the right hand of God.

Acts 1:4-11 4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” 7 And He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

Luke24:50-51  50 And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 51 Now it came to pass, while He blessed them, that He was parted from them and carried up into heaven.

Mankind is born of water as a sinner. He must be born again in the spirit before he may get into God’s heaven. To be born again is to be re-born in a new spiritual birth meaning being regenerated and saved (granted salvation) by faith in Jesus Christ. God creates a new, clean, tender heart with all impurities removed. Fallen man cannot regenerate himself; he needs a divine operation. Fallen man can only have faith in God. He cannot do anything else to help his cause. Fallen Man can only be saved by the grace of God through His Son Jesus Christ.

God gave us the inclination to be drawn to Him. Those who choose to believe in Jesus were predestined. Predestination is God’s way of giving those who choose Jesus as their Lord and Savior the right to be received into sonship and to receive all the blessings bestowed on His children. This includes salvation sealed by the Holy Spirit and all the rights to share in the inheritance given to Jesus by God.

For whom He foreknew (the elect; before birth), He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified

Since you are drawn by God to Christ, you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. But we are bound to give thanks to God always, for you brethren are beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.

Election by God is for all eternity. Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. God has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

We believers have been elected by God, given to Jesus, justified, glorified and sanctified by the Holy Spirit and will be sent to God’s heaven in due time for the final sanctification. For now and always we are in Jesus and He is in us and we will be with Him for eternity. What a glorious future we have in Jesus Christ.

Now after reading the above, how do you believe? You do not have to admit your answer to anyone but you should admit it to God. But that is really not necessary because reads your mind and your thoughts before you think of them. This is just another reason why you desperately need God. If you still do not believe in God, Jesus or the Holy Spirit, I would like to hear from you about your thoughts at carltonb@suddenlink.net . Therefore if something missing from my message, I certainly would like to fix it.

God will automatically bless and accept all His elect children. I wish to help bring into God’s elect fold anyone who wishes to learn about God and His plan. It may not be much more than giving  correct information for a better understanding of God and His plan for all His children. Whether you are aware or not, all human beings and angels are God’s children. Yes, even the good and the bad. Some of God’s children will go to God’s heaven and some of God’s children will go to God’s hell.

Please know that God could not be happier than when non-believer becomes a believer and a child of His. God literally really wants everyone to become an elect child of His that will believe in Jesus Christ and His message and will change from their evil ways and live in goodness and obey the laws that God and Jesus has set down. Yes, God even wants those abominal sinners who will sincerely repent by turning their lives around and believe in Jesus Christ. It is just that simple.

Please let me know if you need help (carltonb@suddenlink.net).
