Be diligent and turn from indifference. Be enthusiastic about the Lord’s work. Be ready to die for the Lord. Choose today whom you will serve. Do not put a basket over your light. Longing for God: so pants my soul for God.
Be diligent and turn from indifference
Revelation 3:19 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
Be enthusiastic about the Lord’s work
1 Corinthians 15:58 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Choose today whom you will serve
Joshua 24:15 15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Do not put a basket over your light
Mark 4:21-22 Parable of the Lamp
21 Also He said to them, “Is a lamp brought to be put under a basket or under a bed? Is it not to be set on a lampstand? 22 For there is nothing hidden which will not be revealed, nor has anything been kept secret but that it should come to light. 23 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.”
24 Then He said to them, “Take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given. 25 For whoever has, to him more will be given; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
Luke 8:16-18 Parable of the Lamp
16 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a vessel or puts it under a bed, but sets it on a lampstand, that those who enter may see the light. 17 For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. 18 Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him.”
Longing for God
Psalm 42:1 1 As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.
Make the most of every opportunity

Titus 2:14 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
Without Knowledge of Zeal
Apostle Paul prior to conversion
Galatians 1:13-14 13 For you have heard of my former conduct in Judaism, how I persecuted the church of God beyond measure and tried to destroy it. 14 And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers.
Romans 10:2-3 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.
Some who preach Christ
Philippians 1:15 15 Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill:
Teacher of religious law
Matthew 8:19-20 19 Then a certain scribe came and said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go.”
20 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”
Obey God rather than men. Our spirits are renewed every day. Serve the Lord enthusiastically. Thirst for God. Have a total commitment for Him who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed. Apostle Paul prior to conversion had zeal to destroy the church. Israelites being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. Some who preach Christ preach from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill. Jesus, a teacher of religious law.
Please remember that if we have any hope in our Lord and Savior who gave us “everything” we must be continually faithful to the Lord, first. Remember, God loved us first, even before He created us.
God is testing us every day and has given us the right to make our own choices. Do you know which ones are the right choices in Gods mind?
Fear God, love God, honor God, and trust God with all your heart, mind and soul and you will receive and experience the joy of the promises of God’s blessings in His time.
