Standards of Truth

As to human standards of truth such as goodness and beauty—they are not universal ideals that have dropped from the sky. Rather, each person is responsible for crafting his own life-guiding principles such as: Believing in God and going to church on Sunday, when in the company of a young lady, a gentleman opens the door for her, helps her into her chair, and escorts her on the traffic side of the sidewalk, never tell on a friend, take care of the young and old in your family. Obey your Father and Mother.

Then, consider other truths by standards of God, because it is God’s standards that we must follow without questioning. Some of these standards are: Love God with all you heart, with all of your soul and with all of your mind. Obey the Ten Commandments. If you have sincerely confessed your sins (that is, turned your sinful way of life around) and believe Jesus Christ is your Savior and have told God about it, then it is certain you will go to heaven to be with Jesus and God for eternity.

Boast not that you know the LORD but rather, make absolutely sure…the LORD knows you (Matthew 7:23). Liars will have no place in heaven. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding (Proverbs 9:10). Every individual on the face of this earth is a sinner. Do not change the words of God either in writing or when spoken orally. God loves you even though you are a sinner and He knows you will sin again.

People of great wealth have about as much chance of going to heaven as putting a camel through the eye of a needle.

If you so much as give one of God’s children a drink of water you have made God very happy and you will be greatly rewarded for it.

No matter how we say it, the truth is the truth is the truth. If we don’t know the truth, tell the truth, and abide by the truth, we will never get to know God or Jesus or the Holy Spirit. The best way to know Them is to read about Them, study about Them, and live you life as near to the way Jesus lived His life as you can.

Finding a way to stay in and around other Christians is a good way of learning, studying and being around a Christian lifestyle. Changing your lifestyle to do these things probably is one of the more important things you can do besides teaching others the same. These are the places where God’s love roams .

Beware! Read, learn and study the bible so that you will know when someone is being used by the devil. People that are being used by the Devil say things that are not true or they may try to give you something to read that may not be true or you may be encouraged to be a part of something that is wrong or misleading.

Build your wealth in heaven where no one can steal it. The truth is, if you do good works on earth and have given your life to Jesus Christ then when you are judged you will be rewarded truth, or those things you have stored in heaven.

One last thing about the Gospel is God’s Truth, tell it, teach it to others and live by it and you will please God and God will know who you are.

Bible knowledge is the apprehension of truth; wisdom is its application to life. Knowledge is prudent, judgment and wisdom is prudent action. Both are found in Christ (cf. Rom. 11:33; 1 Cor. 12:8) whose wisdom is foolishness to the world (1 Cor. 1:21-25), but who is the power of God by which a believer receives “righteousness, holiness, and redemption” (1 Cor. 1:30).

God is testing us every day and has given us the right to make our own choices. Do you know which ones are the right choices in Gods mind?

Fear God, love God, honor God, and trust God with all your heart, mind and soul and you will receive and experience the joy of the promises of God’s blessings in His time.

May God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit and Christianity be our guiding lights, our safety nets and our inspiration for loving happiness in all of Your kingdom. Father into your hands I commend my spirit. Not my will, but Yours be done. Please come Lord Jesus.

I pray in Jesus sweet name and to His glory through the power of the Holy Spirit,

Amen.
