David recognized his sin and prayed to the Lord. Job’s own mouth pronounced him guilty. Why didn’t I listen, I have not obeyed my teachers nor listened to my instructors.
David recognized his sin
2 Samuel 24:17 17 Then David spoke to the Lord when he saw the angel who was striking the people, and said, “Surely I have sinned, and I have done wickedly; but these sheep, what have they done? Let Your hand, I pray, be against me and against my father’s house.”
Job’s own mouth pronounced him guilty
Job 9:20 20 Though I were righteous, my own mouth would condemn me; Though I were blameless, it would prove me perverse.
“Why didn’t I listen”
Proverbs 5:13 13 I have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, Nor inclined my ear to those who instructed me!
