What is Salvation?

From Romans 1:16

Salvation is the result of Reconciliation, Regeneration, Justification, Sanctification, Glorification and Adoption. Salvation is the end result of all of these actions. Below they have been broken down and explained. Regeneration is a part of Justification and Adoption is a part of Glorification.

RECONCILATION: we were enemies of God but we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His death.

JUSTIFICATION: is the divine act of declaring sinners to be righteous on account of their faith in Jesus Christ.

REGENERATION: the Spirit of God indwells a repentant sinner and imparts eternal life to his or her spiritually dead soul.

SANTIFICATION: is the process in which God develops the new life of a believer and gradually brings it to perfection.

GLORIFICATION: is the ultimate salvation of the whole person.

ADOPTION: for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are Sons of God. The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children of God, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

SALVATION: is the end result of all of these actions above.

Note: The common denominator in this message is God. All people share God and Jesus for a while. But only believers can share joy from God and Jesus after this life, forever and ever.

Man has only two options: trust in the Son or reject the Son. Unbelief is tragic ignorance but it is also willful disobedience to the clear light of the Lord.

For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more” (Jer. 31:34, Heb. 8:12).

God is testing us every day and has given us the right to make our own choices. Do you know which ones are the right choices in Gods mind?

Fear God, love God, honor God, and trust God with all your heart, mind and soul and you will receive and experience the joy of the promises of God’s blessings in His time.
