Longevity

The longevity of your life is approximately 120 years. Aaron died at 123. Jacob died at 147. Joseph and Joshua died at 110. Others have lived much longer and shorter lives. The fear of the Lord lengthens life as the Lord sees fit.

Aaron died at 123

Numbers 33:39    39 Aaron was one hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.

Fear of Lord lengthens life

Proverbs 10:27    27 The fear of the Lord prolongs days, But the years of the wicked will be shortened.

God gives long life

Psalm 91:16    16   With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.”

Honor your father and mother, live long life

Exodus 20:12    12 “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

Jacob died at 147

Genesis 47:28    28 And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years. So the length of Jacob’s life was one hundred and forty-seven years.

Joseph died at 110

Genesis 50:26    26 So Joseph died, being one hundred and ten years old; and they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.

Joshua died at 110

Joshua 24:29    29 Now it came to pass after these things that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died, being one hundred and ten years old.

Longevity in millennial kingdom

Isaiah 65:20    20 “No more shall an infant from there live but a few days,

Nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days;

For the child shall die one hundred years old,

But the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.

Moses died at 120

Deuteronomy 34:7    Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.

Obedience to God yields long life

Proverbs 3:1-2    1 My son, do not forget my law,

But let your heart keep my commands;

2 For length of days and long life

And peace they will add to you.

Seventy years are given to us

Psalm 90:10    10 The days of our lives are seventy years;

And if by reason of strength they are eighty years,

Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow;

For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Wisdom will multiply your days

Proverbs 9:11    11   For by me your days will be multiplied,

And years of life will be added to you.

A child in the millennial kingdom will die at 100 years but the sinner at 100 years old will be accursed. Obedience to God yields a long life. Wisdom will multiply your days.

Please remember that if we have any hope in our Lord and Savior who gave us “everything” we must continually be faithful to the Lord, first. Remember, God loved us first, even before He created us.

Lamentations 3:22, 23    22 Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. 23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

God is testing us every day and has given us the right to make our own choices. Do you know which ones are the right choices in Gods mind?

Fear God, love God, honor God, and trust God with all your heart, mind and soul and you will receive and experience the promises of God’s blessings in His time.
