As common sense will tell us the bible also tells us to avoid foul or abusive language and that good words come from a good heart.
Avoid foul or abusive language
Romans 3:13, 14 13 “Their throat is an open tomb;
With their tongues they have practiced deceit”;
“The poison of asps is under their lips”;
14 “Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
Ephesians 4:29 29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.
Good words come from a good heart
Matthew 12:35 35 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
Let your conversation be gracious
Colossians 4:6 6 Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Rid mouth of filthy language
Colossians 3:8 8 But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.
Let your conversation be gracious and rid your mouth of anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, and filthy language, get them out of your heart and your mouth.
Hearts can be renewed by Jesus. Christ can make a heart strong. God can create a new clean heart. God can give singleness (one God) to a heart. The Lord can cleanse the heart and renew its spirit.
Please remember that if we have any hope in our Lord and Savior who gave us “everything” we must be continually faithful to the Lord, first.
Fear God, love God, honor God, and trust God with all your heart, mind and soul and you will receive and experience the promises of God’s blessings in His time.
Prayer: Father in heaven, I praise You for Your Son and the Holy Spirit. I praise You for Your grace in sending us Your wisdom about our “Language.” Please bless those who have read this article for they too are seeking Your truth, love, wisdom and understanding.
May God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit and Christianity be our guiding lights, our safety nets and our inspiration for loving happiness in all of Your kingdom. Father into your hands I commend my spirit. Not my will, but Yours be done. Please come Lord Jesus.
I pray in Jesus sweet name and to His glory through the power of the Holy Spirit,
